Kontesera

January 2009 nang panoorin ko together with my friend Aly ang The 'Thank You' Girls sa Robinson's Galleria. Mangilan-ngilan pa lang ang gay indie flicks during that time kaya naman tuwing may bago, todo abang ako kung kelan ipapalabas.

Kung ilalarawan ko sa isang salita ang pelikulang ito, "malinis" ang sasabihin ko. Malinis in the sense na hindi binaboy at inabuso ang buhay bakla. Hindi tulad ng ibang gay indie films na puro seks at karahasan ang tema, buhay ng pagiging kontesera ang tinalakay dito.

May subtitle ito dahil Visayan dialect ang pangunahing wika na ginamit ng mga karakter. Wala halos sikat na artistang gumanap pero hindi ka naman mabibigo sa kanilang performance dahil bonggaycious ang aktingan nila.

  2. hi .. i just want to let you know i had an extra appearance in this movie (shot in Bukidnon) and did some "voice overs" ( in ortigas) .. .

    hmmmm matanong ko lng po... may available DVD na ba ito sa local market? I cant seem to contact kuya Bebs (yung director)... Ive worked at manila for 3 yrs but im back here in Davao and is currently studying medicine, and thats why i have lost contact with the director... pa advise naman po kasi i want to have a copy of this movie...thanks po..

    I have been a member of the said fanpage (thethankyougirls) you suggested since 2009, but it seems that the page is no longer updated ...

    however, i don't want you to take the burden and pressure on looking for Kuya Bebs' current whereabouts... hence, i just want to thank you for your utmost reply... (nagbabaka sakali lang po) ... :)
