• Weird nitong mga hardcore conservative Christians na nakikiramay sa pagkamatay ni Charlie Kirk, isang personalidad sa US na walang ginawa kundi magpalaganap ng hate towards the black and LGBTQIA+ community. Pati na sa mga Palestenians at pop girlies. Anyways, I'm glad they are exposed so I can avoid their projects. We can't support them while they think lowly of us.
  
• Although anti-SOGIE bill si Tito Sotto, I think he's better than Chiz Escudero as Senate President. Still, I don't like him unless he pass the SOGIE bill as law.
• Hangga't mga contrator at engineers lang ang focus ng hearing, walang mangyayari sa korapsyon sa DPWH at sa iba pang ahensya ng gobyerno. Dapat panagutin at isama ang mga pulitikong nakiki-share sa budget na para sana sa ikagaganda ng buhay ng mga Pilipino.
• Nagsisisi ako sa pagboto kay Joel Villanueva noong 2016. Isa sa mga fail ni PNoy itong gunggong na 'to! But I'm glad he's being exposed.
• Pansin niyo ba, pulitiko man, artista, o simpleng mamamayan, kapag may ginawang kabalbalan, laging bukambibig ang Diyos. Kawawa naman si Lord, laging nagagamit at hindi maipagtanggol ang sarili laban sa mga demonyo.
• Nakakaloka ang pasavogue na balita ni Robby Tarozza! But again, hindi issue dito kung bakla ka o hindi kundi ang diumano'y talamak na pagnanakaw sa pondo ng mga Pilipino!
• Grabe pala ang obsesyon ng online haters sa kinaiinisan nila. Nabubuhay sila sa poot at pag-stalk sa bawat kilos ng taong ayaw nila at ipo-post online. Like how can you live like that? Totoo pala na your haters are your biggest fans. KALURKS!
• I think I'm starting to become a fan of Zara Larsson. Ang ganda ng boses ni girl!
• Pumunta pala ako sa record fair kahapon sa Trinoma at nakita ang cassette tape na 'to. Ang masasabi ko lang, "Anna Dizon is Anna Dizon"! To be fair ang ganda ng boses niya.

So I watched this interview the other day dahil wala akong magustuhang true crime docu sa Netflix. CHOS! I've been thinking about that topic the past few years kasi ako mismo hindi na active mag-share ng ganap sa social media. Dati, may multiple posts ako in a day from selfies, to movies, music, books, friends, public places, food, inumin etc. Bukod pa 'yan sa halos araw-araw kong pagba-blog. Ngayon, maswerte na kung may post ako in a month. Kung hindi ko pa pipilitin ang sarili ko, wala akong post. Pero why need ipilit now? What haffen, Vella? Probably, nawala 'yung sincerity and fun at napalitan ng consciousness about likes and number of views? I didn't care about this before kaya post lang ako nang post, dedma sa anggulo at kung aesthetic shot ba.

Honestly, parang hindi naman applicable ang topic sa mga Pinoy kasi #1 consumer tayo ng social media sa mundo. Lahat ipo-post baka sakaling mag-trend, i-share, at ma-monetize. Maski sa burol naka-live ang iba. Pero bakit hindi ko na makita 'yung posts ng friends ko at halos lahat ng nasa feed ko eh mga hindi ko kilala o fina-follow? Minsan akala ko picture lang pero pag-click ko, Shopee/Lazada link pala. KALOKA! 'Yan ang isa sa mga dahilan kung bakit kinatatamaran ko na mag-scroll ng feed kasi itong mga public pages na ito ang priority ng apps imbes na mga kaibigan ko. More more share na lang sa mga group chats kasi rekta sa kanila. Mas nagagamit ko pa 'yung search history ko kasi nandoon 'yung mga profile na bet ko balik-balikan. Umay sa mga online celebs at promoted pages!

Gumora ako sa TriNoma kahapon para humabol sa Reel Pride na handog ng Ayala Malls Cinemas at Viva Films. Dalawang magkasunod na pelikula ang pinanood ko, ang Macho Dancer at Pusong Mamon.

Meron na akong Strand Releasing DVD ng Macho Dancer which I believe is the uncut version of the movie pero hindi pa ito restored which is why kahit alam kong nachop-chop na ng MTRCB ang local version eh kebs, I want to experience it on the big screen. At hindi naman sayang ang pineylet ko dahil napakaganda ng kalidad. May mga minor line scratches at dirt pero barely noticeable. Digitally enhanced lang ito at hindi full restoration (makaiba sila). I don't know kung scanned from negative or positive print ang pelikula pero mukhang naalagaan ng Viva Films ang source material.

Sa pekeng VCD ko naman unang napanood ang Pusong Mamon. I can say it's one of the best queer films na meron tayo. It was ahead of its time and still relevant if papanoorin ngayon (especially with the rise of conservative Christianism). While watching the film, you can feel that it was made with sensitivity. Hindi pilit ang aktingan at cringefest ang batuhan ng linya. Mind you, A-listers lahat ng bida pero wala ka halos maramdaman na 'di nila bet ang kani-kanilang mga karakter. Napakasarap ni Albert Martinez sa tuwing lumalabas sa screen! Isa pang komento ko habang nanonood, ang ganda-ganda ng love nest nila ni Eric Quizon. The kitchen and overlooking view from the balcony is a dream!

Unang kong napansin ang grainy look ng dalawang pelikula. Ang linaw at buhay na buhay ang balat ng mga tao. The colors are bright even at night. 'Yung saktuhan lang at hindi masakit sa mata. The background images are crisp and clear.

Kapag close up ang shot, kitang-kita ang pores at masasabi mong napakaganda ng mga artistang nagsipag ganap. Wala halos retoke, taong-tao, hindi robot, hindi sinaksakan ng fillers ang iba't ibang parte ng fes. And their teeth! Natural color, size and shape. Veneers could nevah!

Even the fashion from those era were cute! Napakakulay ng buhay bago nauso ang neutral pieces na uso ngayon. Bring back the yellow, bright red, sky blue and different shades of green! At feeling ko, isusuot ko pa rin ang damit ni Jaclyn Jose nang una silang magkita ni Allan Paule sa parke.

Hanggang July 1 na lang ang Reel Pride mga ateng kaya habol na!
