Tapang
I saw this meme being shared or liked by my Facebook friends. Wala naman akong magagawa sa opinyon nila but I hope they understand and know the real meaning of courage. According to Google, Courage is the ability to do something that frightens one or strength in the face of pain or grief.
I just wish na bago nila shinare o ni-like 'to, naintindihan muna nila ang kalagayan ng mga nasa LGBT community. We won't be forcing you to accept us but at least know where we are coming from. From there, it may lead to understanding and less judgement. Akala niyo ba, madali mapunta sa kalagayan namin? We may dress flamboyantly and talk and laugh so hard that everyone can hear but behind that, there's a deeper need that we ask from the society.

One of your best posts Bb. Melanie. As always, you always amaze me. Very, very intelligent. Life is indeed to short to spend it being ashamed or fearful. More of this Bb. Melanie. Beauty queen inside and out.
ReplyDeletehe's a freak
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Melanie for what you just said. Courage takes many forms in life. And one of them is having enough courage to face homosexual animosity amidst our society . Just pray that this too shall pass.
ReplyDeletei'm in toronto and the lgbt community here doesnt think his "struggle" is real...i prefer the story of "Carlie" on the show "becoming us"...
ReplyDeletei got curious with the show youre talking about and i just finished the first three episodes and it's an amazing show about t ransgenders. thanks for the recommendation.
#slowclap #deserve
ReplyDeletei am not impressed by Caitlyn at all
ReplyDeleteme too! a transformation in 6 weeks is of course possible when you have 20 people doing it for you duh
DeleteI felt sad when I saw this weeks ago. They should have thought na aside from being brave for Caitlyn being who she is, she also inspired and gave other trans people a voice and possible someone to look up to.
ReplyDeleteshe proclaimed that she's a republican...the political party who would not give her any rights so good luck with that stupid caitlyn!
