Itatwa

Nagustuhan ko ang maraming niyang life lessons and advices. I'm now reading Bright, Catholic and Gay. Compilation of essays written by the same author but this time, in straight English kaya eto, nose bleed ako. CHOS! I'm actually thirsty for a book about transgender women. Sana magkaroon the soonest.

Speaking of religion, naloka ako sa comments section ng post ni Catriona Gray about supporting the LGBTQIA+ community. According to some hard-core Christians, she doesn't live up to her Christian faith because (1) God does not approve same-sex marriage, (2) she can't be a true Christian and a LGBT supporter at the same time, (3) she cannot compromise her faith in God just because she is working in the entertainment industry, (4) supporting the LGBTQIA+ is going against God and (5) more vile and poisonous comments na hindi keri ng puso't isipan ko.

Can I Just Say:

I am truly disgusted with these Christians. Nakakasuka din 'yung mga nagsasabing hindi nila hate ang LGBTQIA+ but they don't support equal rights for the community. Ipokrita much! Magsama-sama kayo nina Miriam Quiambao at Manny Pacquiao.

Bukod

I remember last year that one of my goals was to create a YouTube channel for our blog. It didn't materialize dahil bukod sa oras at editing skills, hindi man halata eh shy type ang byuti ko. I feel more comfortable writing and editing words kaya eto, patuloy tayong nagsusulat.

Marami na tayong pagpipilian na YouTube channels ngayon that fits our interests. I personally like Paano Ba 'To? by Bianca Gonzales because her videos are full of life advices from experts or someone who experienced it. Hindi rin dragging ang videos niya so it's not consuming so much of my social media time.

Bet na bet din ang informative videos about the LGBT+ people. There's so much learn within our community and I'm happy that Team and Outrage produced videos in our language para mas malawak ang audience reach. Topics ranges from media, SOGIE talk, establishing a business, discrimination, coming out, religion and more. PANALO!

#ResistTogether

The Metro Manila Pride is just around the corner and the theme this year is #ResistTogether - for safe, intersectional, educational, & empowering spaces for LGBTQIA+ Filipinos.

The organization needs our help to make this a successful event just like last year. Pwede tayong makatulong with a minimum amount of 3 hams.

Sharing is also one way to help. Post mo lang sa social media accounts mo ang GoGetFunding link or pictures at malay mo, your friends and allies here and around the globe are willing to donate. I-engganyo ang mga friends na maki-join! Click the widget below to know more about the fund raising.

Panlasa

Masarap daw oh! UP Film Center (click for the schedule) in Diliman QC.

May marathon naman sina Mamu; and a Mother too at Bille & Emma sa Cinema Centenario (click for the schedule). Kasama din sila sa Pride line-up ng Cinema '76 (click for the schedule) together with 2 Cool To Be 4gotten and Miss Bulalacao. Siyempre, don't forget our shivolee siblings dahil ipapalabas din ang Baka Bukas, Changing Partners and the classic T-Bird at Ako. PAAAK! Ate Guy and Vilma in one movie plus directed by Danny Zialcita.

Basta make sure na CLAYGO tayiz!

Hangarin

It's Pride Month, mga ateng!

Sana magkaroon ng Zombadings 2, 3, 4, 5 and more parang Shake, Rattle and Roll.

Kahapon ang last day ng 17th Congress. Maging batas kaya ito sa pagpasok nina Pia Cayetano, Imee Marcos, Bong Go, Bato Dela Rosa and the likes? Only time can tell but we will remain optimistic on this as long as we have our champions in the Congress fighting for our equal rights.

Nagpa-online poll pala ang House of Representatives about same-sex unions. I don't really get the point of having this poll dahil hindi naman lahat ay may access sa Internet. The LGBT+ community deserves so much better than this. We need the Congress to believe that we deserve equal rights and not just base their decision on a poll that can be easily manipulated.

I can't help but to sigh and do facepalm in my mind. It's saddening because he has a lot of supporters from the LGBT+ community at ito pa ang kanyang ibabalik.
